Furnace Installation — Book a Visit Today

We install and replace gas furnaces in homes across Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana, and the next step is a visit to size the system to your house instead of copying the old label. Most furnaces come out because the heat exchanger has cracked, the burners short cycle on a limit switch, or the cabinet has rusted through from an attic drain line that has been leaking for years. On the visit we measure the home, look at your returns and supply runs, check gas line and venting, then talk through gas furnace installation, straight replacement, or a high-efficiency upgrade with condensate drainage. You get the options in writing before anything is pulled out. Call us and we will book a heating replacement assessment at your house.

The furnace installation symptoms we hear most

  • The furnace is 20 years old and finally quit End of service life, failed heat exchanger or control board
  • We keep paying for heating repair every winter Repeat failures on an aging system, replacement usually cheaper than the next three visits
  • Some rooms never get warm, others cook Undersized returns and duct problems that a new furnace alone will not fix
  • There is rust and water staining under the unit Long-term condensate or drain pan leak eating the cabinet and burners
  • A technician told us the heat exchanger is cracked Life safety issue, the furnace should stay off until it is replaced

Search for it as furnace installation or furnace replacement and you land in the same place: one visit, one written quote.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Check the thermostat batteries and confirm it is set to Heat with a setpoint above room temperature.
  • 2Look at your breaker panel for a tripped furnace or air handler breaker and reset it once.
  • 3Change the filter if it is grey and packed, then see whether airflow improves.
  • 4Walk the house and open any supply vents and returns that have been closed off by furniture or rugs.

Furnace Installation — quick answers

How long does a furnace installation take?

Most straight furnace replacements take one day. If we are changing vent material, adding a condensate drain for a high-efficiency unit, or working in a tight attic, it can run into a second day. We tell you which before we start.

Can I just replace the furnace and keep my AC?

Often yes, if the coil and the outdoor unit are in good shape and the airflow matches. We check that the new furnace blower suits the existing coil. If the AC is also near end of life, we say so and let you decide.

Do I need the same size furnace I have now?

Not always. Plenty of homes across the region were fitted with oversized furnaces that short cycle. We measure the house and check duct capacity, then size the BTU output to the load rather than matching the old data plate.

Is a high-efficiency upgrade worth it in our climate?

It depends on how much you actually run heat and where the furnace sits. High-efficiency units need condensate drainage and different venting, which adds work in an attic. We lay out both options and the install requirements so you can choose.

What happens to my old furnace and venting?

We disconnect the gas and power, pull the old unit out, and haul it away. Flue and vent material gets inspected and replaced where it does not suit the new furnace. Anything we reuse, we tell you about first.

I smell gas near the furnace. What now?

Leave the building right away, take everyone with you, and call 911 or your gas utility from outside. Do not flip switches on your way out. Once they have made the property safe, call us and we will handle the furnace side.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form with what you hear, smell or feel. Warm air, short cycling, a breaker that keeps tripping. Details on your porch help us arrive with the right parts.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, airflow, the indoor coil and blower, then the outdoor unit and electrical side. You get a plain explanation of what failed and why it failed.

  3. Step 3

    You approve the repair

We walk you through the fix and any parts involved before we start. Once you say go, we make the repair and confirm the system is holding temperature before we leave your driveway.

Why homeowners call us

  • Built for hard summersWe work on attic air handlers in July heat, undersized returns in older subdivisions, and condensers with hail-flattened fins. Those are everyday jobs across the region, so we know where these systems tend to give out first.
  • Air conditioner repair and heating repairOne crew for both seasons. Air conditioning repair when the house won't cool, heater repair and furnace repair when the burners won't stay lit. Same technicians, same records, so nobody starts from scratch in November.
  • We explain the failureYou hear which component failed and what it was doing to the rest of the system. If a repair is a short-term patch on an aging unit, we say so and let you decide the timing.
  • Respect for the houseDrop cloths, shoe covers, and the attic hatch closed the way we found it. We keep the work area clean and we tell you honestly when a problem is airflow or ductwork rather than the equipment itself.
  • All major brands, gas & electricOne independent crew for Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem and more.
  • Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
