How fast can you get out for HVAC repair?
Most calls get a same-week appointment, and we prioritize homes with no cooling in peak heat or no heat on a hard freeze. Call and tell us what the system is doing. If we can talk you through a thermostat or breaker check first, we will.
Is there anything safe I can check before calling?
Yes, a few things. Replace the thermostat batteries and confirm it is set to cool or heat. Check for a tripped breaker. Swap a dirty filter. Clear leaves and grass clippings from around the outdoor unit and make sure supply vents are open. Leave gas, refrigerant and wiring to us.
I smell gas near my furnace. What do I do?
Leave the building right away and take everyone with you. From outside, call 911 or your gas utility. Do not flip switches or use anything that sparks. Once the utility says the home is safe, call us and we will inspect the furnace and its connections.
Do you handle heating repair as well as AC repair?
We do both. Air conditioning repair in the cooling season and heating repair through winter, including furnaces, blower motors, ignition problems and thermostats that lost control of the system. Because the same equipment moves air year round, one crew handling both keeps the history in one place.
Can you tell me whether to repair or replace my system?
We can give you an honest read after the diagnosis. We look at the age of the unit, what failed, whether other components are near the end, and how the ductwork is performing. Then we lay out both paths and you choose. We will not push a replacement you do not need.
